That is the day of the Sacramento Ducati Owner's Group (DOG) third annual private track day. Event will be held at Thunderhill Raceway and rumor has it the track will be repaved in July or August, so it will be perfect for us. This is a very popular event, we sold out the previous two years. People really enjoyed the atmosphere and want to come back for more. We limit enrollment. At any given time there are approximately 15 riders on the track after the early sessions shake out. Thats like riding alone or if you prefer, with your own group of friends. Make new friends and join us! All bikes are welcome. The cost is $220 ( $200 for the first 20 riders and $239 after September 1, that includes a BBQ lunch and refreshments (I'm the resident cook). We will have Dave Moss, the suspension guru present and Gotbluemilk photography also present as well. Mark McPerry from Dainese will be on hand to show the newest safety gear and offer some great deals. John Bekefy from Leo Vince will also be there to show us some new exhuast systems and great deals... Requirements: Proper riding gear: Uncrashed DOT helmet One-piece or zip-together leather riding suit Motorcycle-specific boots Motorcycle-specific gloves Back protector is strongly recommended Ear plugs are also recommended (we have free ones for you) "Sparking" knee pucks are NOT allowed (they start fires and startle riders who think you're crashing) Bike must pass a technical inspection. Excellent tires (near new), no leaks, good brakes, proper chain slack, etc. Prepared bike: Remove or tape mirrors Disconnect brake light, or remove bulbs/fuse, or completely tape brake light lens (no bleed-through!) The following preparation is optional: Taping or removing headlights and/or turn signals Safety wiring (this is welcome but not required) Draining antifreeze and replacing it with pure water (MOTUL MoCool additive additive is recommended).
